Hide and Seek Event Type

Hide and Seek Events are ones where the main mechanic is a grid with things hidden that require looking behind them for prizes.

The Grid

The Grid for the event will be made of of cleared spots, spots that can be cleared using a tool, and spots that cannot be cleared (typically walls or crates). The player uses one of three different tools to clear out spots. If a prize is found, the spot must be cleared before claiming it. Clearing spots on the right most side of the grid will advance the grid. You cannot go backwards so make sure to claim prizes before going too far right.

The Tools

There will be three tools that are used for clearing spots. The tools are found while clearing spots and can also be bought with the Event Currency and Diamonds.

Tool 1

The first tool will clear a single spot. That spot must be next to a cleared spot.

Tool 2

The second tool will clear a single column. It must be acctived on a cleared spot and will clear all spots up and down, except unclearable spot. Unclearable spots also block the second tool from clearing spots on the other side of them.

Tool 3

The third tool will clear the eight spots around it (the four spots next to it and the four diagonal spots.) That spot must be next to a cleared spot.

The Goals

Like most event types there are a few different goals while clearing. Pursuing one goal might make the others more difficult.

Grand Prize Collectables

Hidden on the grid are a paticular type of item, such as an idol. Once so many of those items are collected the grand prize is awarded and it is reset for the next grand prize in the cycle. The Event Building Upgrade Kits are often found as Grand Prizes.

Random/Daily Prize Collectables

Hidden on the grid are another type of item. Collecting one of these will give a random prize with a chance of getting the daily prize.

Mini Quest Collectables

Hidden on the grid are a third type of item. By collecting these items you can start a mini quest line for addition prizes. There are typically eight different mini quest line items and there is often a prize for doing each set of unquie eight.
